I saw a cool card this morning on SCS done by Kay Kaltoff. She used a technique she saw on another demo's blog – dostamping.typepad who had a YouTube video on the technique. This is the card I created using the technique shown in the video. The Whisper White cardstock is embossed with the "faux texturz plate", look closely to see the detail.
Basically, you die cut heavy cardstock or in my case light chipboard like you get from the packaging of Stampin' Up!'s 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper. I glued the die cut images using Stampin' Up!'s Anywhere Glue to a piece of light chipboard the size of one of Stampin' Up!'s Texturz Plates. I let the glue dry a few minutes, then ran the "faux texturz plate" through the Big shot to create this neat background. My Big Shot sandwich: Multipurpose platform closed, faux texturz plate, cardstock, silicone pad, Texturz Impressions pad. That is it! Just stamp and decorate.
