I used Stampin' Up!'s English Garden Designer Series Paper and the tear and flip method to create the background. Simply take a piece of Designer Series Paper and tear it across about 2/3's of the way down and simply flip the bottom 1/3 piece over and glue to Crumb Cake cardstock base. Stamp and punch your sentiment and layer on another punched piece of cardstock and adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Tie a ribbon around front of card and you are done.
Now in case you are wondering how I tied the ribbon to the front without tying the card closed, look closely at the left hand side. I used the flower punch from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack to create a small slot in the folded side of the card to thread my ribbon through to the front side. If you look at the Itty Bitty flower punch, you will see one of the petal ends is pretty square and that is the one I used to create the slot.
