Welcome to my first blog post!  I chose this card using Stampin' Up!'s Delightful Decorations stamp set (#116517), Stampin' Up! Textured impressions Folder Petals-A-Plenty (#116824), Christmas Cocoa Specialty Designer Series Paper (#116770), Gold Elastic Cord (#109867), and Ornament punch (#116794) from the Holiday Mini catalog.

Delightful Decorations

I had hoped to get my blog up and running earlier, hence the reason I chose this card.  If you like this card and want to make it you need to order these products by January 4. I love how this card came together. I started with the Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper and used that as the basis for my color palette for this card, Soft Suede, Real Red and Whisper White.  I am so happy that Stampin' Up! sells embossing folders with their exclusive designs, it makes designing a card so easy since everything coordinates.

Did you notice the middle ornament?

Yes, it is stamped with Merry Christmas stamp from the Hostess Level I set Holiday Best (#115364) and fits perfectly inside the punched ornament!    Click on photo to enlarge.

Tip:  attach the punched ornaments to the card with dimensionals before trying to tie the cord on them!
