Carrie and I started with the same palate for our cards: Layer 1 – Very Vanilla Card Base 4 1/4" x 11". Layer 2 on right – Old Olive 2 1/2" x 4 1/4" embossed with the Square Lattice Textured Impressions folder. Layer 3 on left – 3" x 4 1/4" piece of Autum Spice Designer Series Paper. Layer 4 – Another piece of Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper die cut using Stampin' Up!'s Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die and the Big Shot. If you don't have this die you NEED it! I love it, and have so many ideas using it. Layer 5 – stamped saying punched with the Decorative Label punch.
Now we made the cards ours with our own special touch. The card below is mine which I made first:
And this is Carrie's:
As you can see by just adding a very simple stamped leaf (leaves) and a different Autumn Spice Print you have two toally different cards even though the template and most Layers are exactly the same.
