Fabulous Florets Center Step Card

This is a card I created for my Hostess Appreciation Party on Thursday. It is a fun card using Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper and Stampin' Up!'s Fabulous Florets stamp set. The flowers were embossed with Tangerine Tango Stampin' Emboss Powder and colored with the reinker spread technique.

Fifth avenue Floral meets Vintage Wallpaper

This is a "wish I was there" post!  I wish I were at convention, however, it was not in the cards this year. So I am posting and wishing I was at Convention and letting you know the latest and greatest from Utah!  I am home, monitoring what is going on in Utah and playing with my stamps. Hope you like this card.

Butterfly Pansy and My Digital Studio Card Backgrounds

Continuing yesterday's blog post, I have more samples from my Hostess Appreciation party. Two more cards I made using My Digital Studio to create the background paper, then layered on card base and added ribbon and stamping. The blue card uses Thought & Prayers for the stamping and 1/4" Night of Navy Grosgrain ribbon and 3/8" white taffeta ribbon.

On the sympathy card below, I layered the digital image onto Chocolate Chip cardstock, then added the ribbon and layered it onto a Whisper White card base. I used the retired Close as a Memory to stamp "with heartfelt Sympathy".

Last is a simple card with a WOW factor: the pansy flower on the front. The original creator of the butterfly pansy is Tina Sieben and many other demonstrators have created their own version of the butterfly pansy flower. Mine uses the reinker technique. If you are one of my customers, please contact me and I will be glad to tell you how to create this flower. If you are not my customer, please contact your demonstrator, and she will show you how to do this technique. If you do not have a demonstrator, just choose me when placing a Stampin' Up! order.
