Take A Spin with Ice Cream Parlor, Owls and More Treats!

I have over 350 pictures to view and edit from Leadership. Today I am choosing 3 of the Game Spinner Hand Cards that were on the Display boards at Leadership. Below is a card that was shown at a Demo Booth and also on the Display Boards. I do not remember the demo's name, however, if someone knows who it was please let me know and I will be glad to give her credit. It is a card made with our treat cups:

Dasher’s Apple Mint Hand Sanitizer Gift Enclosure

Here is a cute Bath & Body Works Hand Sanitizer Holder. All my designs were inspired by the name of the sanitizer. Today's post uses Dasher's Apple Mint Hand Sanitizer. I had fun creating these and will feature other scent in the upcoming days. This was one of the projects that my club members made this month.

Halloween 3-D Treats and Greeting Card Kids

Well, today it rained all day, so I thought I would be able to stamp a good part of it, get pictures taken and upload my blog early. I did make a dent in the cards I wanted to make, however, my pictures were not coming out right. It seems my flash did not want to work on my digital camera. After looking for the camera manual with no luck, I finally moved some lights around so I could photograph a couple of items.

At my club this week, Jane gave everyone this cute triangle treat box that she decorated with the Halloween stamp from Greeting Card Kids. I thought it was adorable and that you would all like to it. The black cardstock is 3 1/2" x 6 1/2", scored in the middle of the long side. Find the center of the short side (s) and score from the center mark to the outer edge at the score line. Fold on score lines to create triangle box. Punch top and tie wiith ribbon to close.

The next items are gifts my club members made for everyone in club last year. Linda made the pumpkin out of scalloped circles glued together and JoAnn made the cute spider from our scalloped circle and photo corner punches. Between the the spider was a peanut butter cup (long gone)! Even though these two projects are from last year, I keep one of everything so I can recreate it again.

Hopefully, I can find my manual and see if I can get a replacement bulb for my camera and it is not something major. My projects for next week will be Christmas cards I made using the same template. One template, five totally different cards!

Greenhouse Gala Candle and Fall Projects

I could have made these projects using any of Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Papers. Greenhouse Gala was used because it reminded me of fall. I love fall, crisp air, picking apples, fall foliage, pumpkin pie, and especially all the holidays!

A picture of the my all my projects:

Stampin' Up! Greenhouse Gala 3-D Projects

You saw the triangle box on Saturday's post, and the basket in my post HERE. Today I am featuring the candle:

Stampin' Up! Greenhouse Gala Candle and Fall Projects

To make the candle, I stamped the images from Seasonal Sentiments and Friends Never Fade stamp sets on tissue paper and then used wax paper to adhere the images to my purchased candle with the heat tool. It is a very simple technique. If you have never done this technique before, I would be glad to have a workshop for you and your friends. Next I wrapped a piece of Greenhouse Gala paper around the candle and tied it with a piece of 5/8" Early Expresso Grosgrain Ribbon. Then place the candle on a holder and add seasonal embellishments and you are done!

Come back soon for more stamping fun!

Paper Flower meets the 2-4-6-8 Birthday Box

As I stated in yesterday's post, paper flowers on cards are hard to mail, soI have chosen to use them on 3-D items. This time it is a 2-4-6-8 Box. This box is one of the basic boxes that you learn to make when you join Stampin' Up!. My customers have made the 2-4-6-8 box and if you are one of my  customers and have not made this box , just ask me and I will glad to help you. If you have a demonstrator, just call ask your demonstrator and she can help you.

Stampin' Up! 3-D Paper Flower and 2-4-6-8 Birthday Box Jeannine Tarrio September 2010 Holiday Mini

The flower is similar to yesterday's flower post. The only difference is I changed the punch to the scallop edge border punch and used the Celebrations Designer Series Paper. The stamp sets used are Party Hearty and On Your Birthday. I used Glimmer Brad Brights and the Decorative Label Punch from the Stampin' Up!'s 2010 Holiday Mini. This could be used to hold a birthday gift, treats for guests or used as a placecard. If you like this flower, be sure to check out my other 3-D flower posts this week and tomorrow.

Oragami Box and 3 x 3 Gift Cards with Scallop Trim Border Punch Flower

To highlight my punched flower, I attached it to an origami box. Shelli Gardner showed us a cute origami box at the 2009 convention and my box is similar. You really cannot mail cards very well with this 3-D flower, however, it is perfect for a box! I used the scallop trim border punch to punch a strip of Designers Series Paper, then scored between the scallops and pleated it. Connect the ends to create a circle and a glue to a punched scallop circle. I attached a flower punched with the Boho Blossoms punch to the center and then added a Stampin' Up! Glimmer Brad. I used the Just Believe Stamp set to create the flower pattern on the card.

Below a picture of the Origami box.  I made my own box using 2 pieces of 4 1/4" x 11 1/4" card stock to create the box.  I wanted it to fit 3 x 3 cards and envelopes.
