Every time I use this stamp I think of John Denver—-;
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain mama
Take me home, country roads
Just saying the name Country Home reminds me of when I heard John Denver sings this song at the Augusta Civic Center a long time ago. Don’t ask!
Another classic Country Home card uses Stampin’ Up!’s Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions folder. Whew that is a mouthful! I just call it the Tin Tile folder. I embossed the Copper Foil sheet with folder and the Big Shot, then sponged the foil piece tile Tranquil Tide ink to give it a little weathered copper effect.

I used Stampin’ Blends to color the images and fussy cut the images. I also used the Corrugated Dynamic folder on the piece of Crumb Cake cardstock behind the copper piece.
I like how this card came together and hope you do, too.

We had a small turnout for October’s Maine Stampers Team Meeting, only 6! So I took suggestions on what they would like to do after the business part of the meeting. The unamious decision was making a holiday sampler with 3″ x 3″ squares. Some had missed last spring’s 3″ x 3″ swap where we all brought our squares, swapped, and made the sampler at the meeting. 9 team members participated. This time we each designed a square and made 6, one for each person attending. We swapped so we each had 6 different squares. They all took their squares home to finish their sampler project. I gave several ideas on how they could finish their sampler and and am excited to see their finished projects. Here is mine:

My original 3″ x 3″ square is the upper right square (deer). I added the middle square in top row and the middle row left rectangle to complete my sampler. Lots of different Christmas stamp sets.

One of the cards we made at September club was a card that could be used for a birthday in October or a Halloween card. They chose which sentiment they wanted to use. Below is the birthday card.

Quick, easy, and no stamping!

Last Saturday I was a vendor at the Manchester Lions Crop. Everyone had fun working on their scrapbooks, making cards, or just having a fund day out with 40 other crafters! Below is a picture of the tag I made for each participant.

What I wanted to post was the completed goodie I made for everyone and pictures from the crop, however, I totally forgot!! Duh!! So above is the tag that was attached to a cello bag containing bag of pretzels in the shape of pumpkins and bats, and my business card. We made a two-page scrapbook layout for Christmas, as well as two more Christmas cards. The participants that wanted to make these items signed up at my table for the classes. Will post those items in future posts.

For my September Stampin’ Up! Maine Stampers Team Meeting I designed a Double Chocolate Holder for Halloween, a box to hold the Pick Me Up tool, and a template for the Stamparatus. Below is the Double Chocolate Holder
