Here is another card using Stampin' Up's Your Presents stamp set.
I love how a little shading on the circles gives them a 3-D effect. How did I make the peppermint candies you ask? Very simple- stamp the bow once then turn the paper 180 degrees and stamp again meeting at the center. Then punch out with a 3/4" circle punch.
3-D Circles and Your Presents
I will be starting my 12 Weeks of Christmas campaign as a free gift for my mailing list subscribers. Each week, subscribers will receive an e-mail containing a project idea for a holiday card, gift, tag or wrapping, along with directions and supply list necessary to complete the project. This is only for mailing list subscribers you you have to sign up before the first e-mail goes out (Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.).
Have you checked out Stampin' Up!'s Curvy Corner Punch yet? It is on page 18 of Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog. I used all three the punches images on the tag for the front of this card. I paired the tag with the "Your Presents" stamp set and created this quick and easy card.
Your Presents Joy Tag Card
I love getting a jump start on my Christmas cards. I will be announcing a free gift for members of my mailing list on Monday.
In a previous post I describe the Kissing Technique. I used that technique on 3 of the presents on today's card. You will notice that the Watermelon Wonder package has a star design on it. I just used an image with stars on it to kiss the inked present stamp. I did not use ink on the star stamp. This is another way to do the technique.
Using a star for the Kissing Technique
The circles are from Stampin' Up!'s Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set on page 12 of the annual catalog. The star is from Stampin' Up!'s Tin of Cards stamp set on page 110 of Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog.
