Carrie Arsenault and I got together last month and created cards for our card buffets. Creating the cards together is twice as much fun plus a whole lot faster! We chose the stamps and most of the papers for these cards from Stampin' Up!'s 2012 Occasions Mini catalog and the 2012 Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration catalog.
Third card for my January Card Buffet Card is the Baby Prints card on page 7 of the Occasions Mini catalog. I kept the basic template with a few minor changes to make it generic for either a boy or girl. The sentiment if from Teenie Tiny Wishes.

At my Downline Play Day last Saturday, Georgette brought two Make N' Takes for everyone using the Scallop Circle Die. All pieces were pre-cut and scored!! We put tthe two cards together and stamped or decorated as we liked. Here is the first my Baby Bib Card:
Just circle punches and the Scallop Circle die were used to create the carriage below:
The trim was made with the Scallop Ribbon Dotted punch.

Have you figured out that the gift holder is none other than a Stampin' Up!'s Brad, Button, Trinket, etc. plastic container. So don't them them away when they are empty, recycle into useful gift or treat holders! The flower above is made with the Fun Flowers Die (#121812) on page 39 of the 2011 Occasions Mini Catalog. I used an In-Color Glimmer Brad for the center (#121005) page 31 of the same catalog. Designer Series Paper and ribbon finish the project.
Not into flowers? Check out the Tooth Fairy Container below:
I used Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper to decorate the container from page 175 of the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog and the Tooth Fairy stamp (119216) from page 18 of the same catalog. I wanted to create a Baby Tooth Holder for a little boy and I think this paper worked for that purpose. You also could use Nursery Suite Specialty Designer Series Paper or Lap of Luxury DSP for a little girl.
My downline had fun with these projects and I hope you do too!
SAB Recruit Special ends March 31st – 15% off the starter kit AND a free product bundle worth $50!!

Now for my customers — A cute flip card using the baby carriage from Fun & Fast Notes. I found I did not have a current baby stamp set so I did the next best–used what I had! I love how Stampin' Up! stamps from different sets work with each other. I stamped the image in Jet Black Stazon and used the Marina Mist and Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Pads with the Aqua Painters to color the image. Two silver 5/16" brads from the Neutrals Assortment for the wheels completes this image.
The background for the card used the star from Under the Stars stamp set and the words from Teenie Tiny Wishes stamp set. Inside verse is from God's Blessings.
Card is 5 1/2" x 6 3/4" and is scored on the long side at 2 3/4" and 3 3/4". The center flip piece is cut 1 1/4' from the edge of all sides (except DO NOT CUT between the scored lines!). Your flip portion will measure 4 1/4" x 3". Cajun Craze layer is 4 1/8" x 2 7/8" and Marina Mist Layer is 4" x 2 3/4". Whisper White Layer is 3 3/4" x 2 1/2". I think this is a perfect card for a new baby boy. What do you think?
1. Blushing Bride 9 ½’ x 6 ½", score at 6 ½" & 6 ¾"
2. Measure in 2 ½" from each side on the top of the holder mark with pencil
3. Cut diagonally from pencil mark to the closest score line at edge of cardstock. Do this on both sides to create pocket flap
4. Attach 1 ½" x 6 ½" piece of Concord Crush to cut edge of flap and trim (You can cut it first and then attach if you prefer)
5. Cut the extra edge of the 6" x 6" page protector off (part where it would be used to attach to album) so it is the same as the other two sealed sides
6. Add sticky strip to the 3 sealed edges and adhere to Blusing Bride holder, making sure opening for tags is at top toward score lines
7. Punch Pear Pizzazz with Decorative Label Extra-Large punch
8. Stamp "Thanks" on White & punch out with Scallop Oval and adhere to Decorative Label piece. Set aside
9. Punch Whisper White cardstock with Scallop Dotted Ribbon Punch
10. Adhere to flap covering seam line
11. Attach "Thanks" label piece as shown on Tag Holder
12. Insert 6" x 6" piece of DSP in between page protector & cardstock
1. Create tags following samples. Tag bases: 2 Wild Wasabi, 2 Pink Pirouette (one will be embossed with White craft ink), 1 Bashful Blue, 1 Whisper White, 1 Pear Pizzazz, 1 Concord Crush

Today I am sharing one of the projects that we are making at my Catalog Kickoff party this Saturday, August 28th. We will make 2 cards, a scrapbook page (or 2 cards from the kit materials if you don't scrap), a box, a 4-pocket basket, and a tag bag and 8 tags. Below is the tag bag with tags:
I used Stampin' Up!'s Tag Alongs set to create the tags in this project. For every Tag Alongs stamp set that a demonstrator sells, Stampin' Up! will donate $2.00 to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMDHC). Each year Stampin' Up! creates a new stamp set and designates it as the RMDHC set for the year and donates $2.00 to RMDHC for every one sold. Below is the picture of this set.
I will post more details of this project next week after my catalog kickoff party.
