Leadership Swaps and Bridal Show Invitation & Table Favor!

This post was created for SUDSOL's 4th Blog Tour, although the tour is over, I have left my projects for my followers to view.

My first project is one I made for my leadership general swap card:

SUO Stampin' Up! 2011 Occasions Mini Word Play, Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper, Jeannine Tarrio

I wasn't sure I cared for the adornment embellishments when I saw them in the 2011 Occasions Mini. I order a package and when they came I fell in love with them! You really have to hold them to feel/see their beauty. They are the perfect accessory for the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper.

Details:

1. Crumb Cake: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"

2. Rose Red 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"

3. Springtime Vintage Designer series Paper 4" x 4"

4. Always Artichoke 1 1/4" x 4", then punch one long edge with Scallop Trim Border Punch

5. Baja Breeze 3" x 1 3/4" Crumpled

6. Very Vanilla 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" stamped with Always Artichoke and sponged with Crumb Cake

Other Supplies: 1/2" Chantilly Crochet, Adornments, Crystal Effects, Stampin' Dimensionals

When I demonstrated this card recently, Cheryl asked if a Mini Glue Dot would work to attach the adornment instead of Crystal Effects. You could use the Mini Glue Dot if you attached the Adornment directly to the cardstock, however, on this card with the 1/2" Chantilly Crochet between the cardstock and adornment the Crystal Effects really holds better.

Project Two:

The first picture is a Peppermint Patty Basket I made a Leadership Wrapper Swap. each of the 4 peppermint patties have a different stamped top. The top one uses the For you stamp from Sale-a-bration set Punch Bunch. The second uses Elegant Thank You and the third and fourth uses Great Frinds set and Beautiful Wings Embosslit.

Accessories: Silver Brads, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, 1/16" Hole Punch.  Here is another view:

Basket Details:

1. River Rock 5" x 5" scored at 1 1/2" on all 4 sides.

2. Springtime Designer Series Paper – 4 each at 2" x 1 1/2"

3. Handle Rose Red strip 1" x 6" punched to creat handle.

The last two projects were created for a Bridal Show I did earlier this month. These are two of the samples I created: a wedding invitation and matching table favor.

The invitation is a gatefold card with a belly band closure. The matching favor was made with Stampin' Up!'s Milk Carton Die, Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, and the Big Shot.

Bridal Show Season is Here!

This post is for those I spoke with at Leadership about the Bridal show that I participated in on January 2nd, I will be posting more of the samples Carrie Arsenalut and I made for the show. Below is a set I made using the Growing Green stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Wedding Invitation with Growing Green and Gold Embossing Jeannine Tarrio

I love how this card turned out with the hand made flower on the front, the vellum insert inside, and the matching envelope.

I also created this matching box that could be used as a favor box or a box for bridesmaid gifts.

Season of Joy with Bells & Boughs!

I received this card from Lori using the Bells & Boughs stamp set and Stampin' Up!'s Deck the Halls Designer Series paper. I love the vintage feel of this card:

The next card uses Season of Joy and Brushed Silver Cardstock and was received from Erica. The Christmas tree is popped Up with dimensionals. I think the combination is stunning in real life, however, hard to see in a picture:

Merry Christmas Wishes Cards!

Today I am highlighting two more Christmas cards I received this year. The first Christmas card is a case of a card directly out of the 2010 – 2011 Idea Book & Catalog using Stampin' Up!'s Gifts of Christmas on page 43. I received this card from Lynn and loved it! I never recognized it from the catalog. Fast forward to a party I did last week where this stamp set was ordered. At that point I notice it was similar to the one Lynn sent to me. Lynn changed the background paper by using the Big Shot and the Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions Folder instead of the Textured Cardstock. Don't you love it:

The second card is one I received from JoAnn. I love the "tree hanger" and "loop" at the top of the ornament! This stamp is from the Tags Til Christmas stamp set in the 2010 Holiday Mini. The gold brad and Brushed Gold Cardstock finish this card:

Just Believe Folder with Cards & Envelopes

The pictures below are from a class I did earlier this month. This class was inspired by a posting on Stampin' Connection by Cathy Autrey. Cathy made a Gift box and 4 cards with envelopes. I liked the project and the colors. I used Cathy's idea and colors, however, I changed the stamp set, the card holder, and added a couple of techniques. I also changed the template. Here is my rendition of Cathy's Gift set:
