Two Spice Cake cards that my customers made at clubs and workshops in September. I used Stampin' Up!'s new Simply Scored Tool (see 2012 Holiday Mini, pages 6 & 7) to create the pleated "ribbon" on the middle of the card. Directions at bottom of this post. Both cards are similar I just used different paper from the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper pack and changed the embellishment.
and with the paper and embellishment changed (Gently Falling stamp set):
I love Stampin' Up!'s Perfectly Penned stamp set and it is only $12.95 for the clear mount stamp set. Slightly more if you want wood mount.

How did you like my faux pleated ribbon? It is quick to make with Stampin' Up's new scoring tool – Simply Scored. I scored my 12" paper strip at: 1 1/2", 2", 3 1/2", 4", 5 1/2", 6", 7 1/2", 8", 9 1/2" 10" and 11 1/2" . The width of the strip on the first card is 1 1/4" and 1" on the second card.
You need this tool now!!
The Simply scored tool comes with 3 place markers and one stylus. You can purchase extra markers and the handy stylus. I recommend extra markers for scoring strips such as my pleated ribbon strip.
