Love You Much Easel Card

I like using different templates. This card is an easel card and it is quite simple. The dimensions are: Base is 5 1/4 inches by 10 1/2 inches scored on the long side at 5 1/4 and 2 5/8 inches; Cardfront is a 5 1/4 inch square. Inside is a 5 inch square of cardstock. After stamping the cardfront, adhere the bottom half of the card front to the base card piece on the 2 5/8" x 5 1/4" section of the base. (see side view below). Decorate the inside of the card and add a button or brad to the center as a stop to keep the card front upright in an easel position!

Scallop Trim Border Punch

Easel Card, Scallop Trim Border Punch

The scallop trim border punch (in Sale-a-bration mini) and Stampin' Up!'s scallop trim corner punch can be used separately or together stunning backgrounds for your stamps. The center square is made only using the Scallop Trim Corner punch on a 1 15/16" square. Each layer is increased by one scallop on each side. It takes a little bit of time to master these two punches, however, the results are worth it, don't you agree?

TIP: Always use the corner punch upside down and the border punch right side up! Also, I always start with the corner punch, and work my way around the square back to the beginning corner.

Hi Lynn, I am glad you like it. I am going to try and blog each day and see how it goes, in the very least several times a week. Looks like I will have plenty of time this weekend to create more samples.
