Do you think Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Kits are just for scrapbookers? Think again– over the next two weeks I will be uploading 12 scrapbook pages and 18 cards made with kit and some extra cardstock and a few embellishments. I still have a full sheet of Designer Series paper and lots of adhesive die cuts left that I will use for tags! I had a stamp camp last week and it took 4 hours to complete 12 scrapbook pages and 12 cards. Here are two of the pages and two of the cards they made.
This page is a hybrid page. I used My Digital Studio to create the red 8 1/2" x 11" page and then layered it onto the Very Vanillia 12" x 12" page, added chocolate chip ribbon and die cuts from the kit. You can recreate this with a sheet of Real Red pictures, DSP, etc. I only did this one page as a hybrid. The rest are just with the kit and my class did not do the hybrid and only used their kit. This is the first page or cover page.
I used this page for the last page. All the rest are double page layouts. you will see them in subsequent posts. The reason being we start the holiday on Christmas Eve the beginning picture and end on the 25th!
Now for two of the cards:
I will be posting more the items from this stamp camp in a couple days. Now the reason I did this stamp camp in February? I wanted to get my 2009 holiday pictures scrapped and now I have 18 cards made for next Christmas and lots of tags!
