Stampin' Up! Mini Treat Bag Die

Stampin' Up! Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies Jeannine Tarrio Maine Demonstrator    Stampin' Up!'s Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies (#137547) are so much more than what you see at first glance. They can be used as intended for a treat bag, however, they can be used to decorate your treat bag or on a card. You can use some of the dies to create a shaker card, add words to cards, bags, boxes and more. Check out this 12 piece die set on page 9 of Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Catalog.  Also see som of Stampin' Up!'s ideas for their use as well.  I will be featuring this die in many of my mosts this month. Be sure to check out tomorrow's post for more ideas.

Stampin' Up! Backyard Basics, A Round Array, Delightful dozen, Hexagon Hive Thinlits, Jeannine Tarrio

Love You to the Moon – I Really Do!

Don't you just love Stampin' Up!'s Love You to the Moon (#133143 for clear mount, #133140 for wood mount) stamp set?  It can be used for any occasion such as Valentine's Day, Anniversary, Miss You, Thinking of You, well you get it, almost any occasion.  Today's card could be used for the man in your life or a child (is their a connection here???). I used Crumb Cake, Night of Naavy, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White card stock. I used Stampin' Write markers to color the stamp, huff and stamp on the white card layer.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hope you are having a great day. It is still snowing in Maine. We may have a brief break tonight, then more snow on Saturday, and possibly another snow storm on Tuesday. Yikes!  I prefer snow to freezing rain or sleet, so in that respect the weather is not bad. I am just tired of the cold weather and am ready for spring.

Below is my Anniversary card to my DH using Stampin' Up!'s Love You to the Moon stamp set.  It could also be a Valentine's Day or Birthday card.

Valentine Card in a Box – Folds Flat – Pops Up

We had so much fun Sunday at my Maine Stampers Stampin' Up! downline meeting and yes, it was supposed to be on Saturday, however, as you Mainers know, we had another ice storm! My driveway was like a glass bottle and the roads were not much better, so I rescheduled the meeting for Sunday. Sunday turned out warm and sunny and the ice all melted (with a little help).  There were nine of us and everyone one brought cards/projects for show n tell. I can tell you I was blown away by their talent. I had 3 projects planned and cooked dinner for everyone. I had planned to take pictures after dinner, however, after we ate and mingled all other thoughts flew out my head… reminder to me….take pictures first then stamp, eat, etc.

Our first project was a card in a box for Valentine's Day. Below is a picture of the project I am doing at my Valentine Stamp Camp later this month. The project we made on Sunday was similar, we just used Pistachio Pudding cardstock for the box and Venetian Romance Designer Series Paper. I added Island Indigo to the color mix and everyone had fun creating their card in a box. Wished I had remembered to get my camera out after dinner, the cards were gorgeous.

Hearts A Flutter Anniversary Card

Hearts A Flutter Anniversary Card
This Anniversary card could be used as a Valentine's card, also. I used the Hearts A Flutter and Ciao, Baby!  stamp sets from Stampin’ Up!’s 2013 Spring Mini to create this anniversary card.  It easily could be a Valentine’s Day card.  It was another card from my January Card Buffet.
