Hope you enjoyed these projects. Back to my card buffet projects tomorrow.
You’re My Type Masculine Card
Carrie and I got together last month and created cards for our card buffets. Creating the cards together is twice as much fun plus a whole lot faster! We chose the stamps and most of the papers for these cards from Stampin' Up!'s 2012 Occasions Mini catalog and the 2012 Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration catalog.
Fourth card for my January Card Buffet is a card using You're My Type stamp set from page 27 of Stampin' Up!'s 2012 Occasions Mini catalog. Stampin' Up! had the perfect paper as the background for this card, see the old fashioned typewriter in the background paper? It is from the First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper in Stampin' Up!'s 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog (this one is not from the mini). We got the inspiration for this card from Stampin' Connection, there were several so we cased the layout and choose different colors and papers. It could be used for a masculine Valentine or masculine birthday.

Vintage typewriters are hip–and so is this retro-themed, seven-piece stamp set. Sentiments rendered in a classic, typewriter font fit perfectly on the typewriter "page." Coordinates with our nostalgiac Attic Boutique product suite. Set Quantity: 7 |

There are 12 different cards in all and most papers and stamps are from both Stampin' Up! mini catalogs. More tomorrow! Do you want to attend my next card buffet?
Do you live in the Central Maine area? If so, check my calendar or contact me to be added to my mailing list for upcoming events.
Rose Gift Box for Valentine’s Day!
I created this box to hold a Valentine's Day gift of chocolate. Who doesn't like chocolate!!! I cased the box idea from Stampin' Connection. I don't know who the original creator is, so if anyone knows who first created this flower please let me know and I will give them credit.
The flower petals were made with the ornament punch. I used somewhere between 34-40 petals the outside bottom row contains about 14 petals and there about 4 rows before the 3 center petals (which I curled around a pencil). I used the 2 3/8 scallop circle for the base to attach the petals. The box is 3" H x 2 1/2" W x 1 1/2" D. The front and back used the Scallop Circle Die which I trimmed at the bottom to be even with the box. I used the Build-a-Blossom punch for the leaves. You will need study adhesive to hold the flower together – ask me how I know
