Wow!  This stamp set brought back memories, however, that will a subject of another post.  Below is another card I created for my January Card Buffet using Stampin’ Up!’s free Sale-a-bration stamp set Feeling Sentimental. I love the antique feel of this card.

Are you on the fence about whether to purchase Stampin' Up!'s Nature Walk stamp set? Well Check out the samples. The card below was a Leadership swap made by Nancy Ferb.

These projects are from last night's stamp class. These cards were featured in the January issue of Stampin' Success and were created by Nancy Gilbert, I made very minor changes, mostly with the ribbon and accesories. I imagine a lot of demonstrators cased these cards as I did. Thank you Nancy for sharing your creativity! I created the box shown in Stampin' Success with different paper and ribbon. My version is also shown below.

Word Play Vintage Style

The recycled part of today's card post is an extra "Remember When" (Word Play stamp set #120651) piece left over from my Laedership 2011 general swap card. I took a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped lots of images from Puns From the Past (#111676 Wood only) for the background of this play on words card:

Again I used the Big Shot and the Square Lattice Textured Embossing Folder to embed the layers. My original swap card is shown below:

Deck the Halls Christmas Card with Una Feliz Navidad

This is a Make N Take card that everyone did at Jane's workshop this weekend. It is another vintage Christmas card I created with Deck the Halls Designer Series paper and Bells and Boughs stamp set (this is the Spanish version). Everyone distressed the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper, Crumb Cake Strip, and Very Vanilla Tag.

Stampin' Up! Deck the Halls with Una Feliz Navidad Christmas Card 2010 Holiday Mini Vintage?

Layer One: Cherry Cobbler 5 1/2' x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" and fold.

Layer Two: Deck the Halls paper 4" x 4", distress the edges to reveal the white core and adhere to the left side of base about 1/4" from edge.

Layer Three: Crumb Cake 1" x 4", distress edges, wrap 6" strip of 1/2" Crochet Victoria on the strip. Tear a 6" piece of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding in half (save one piece) and adhere the other over the Victoria Crochet Trim. Attach the Crumb Cake piece to the Cherry Cobbler base about 1/4" from left edge.

Layer Four: Very Vanilla 1 1/4 x 3", stamp saying in Cherry Cobbler ink. Using the ticket Corner Punch, punch the left side of tag and use the Crop-A-Dile punch the hole for the ribbon (do not add yet). Sponge tag with Crumb Cake, then sponge edges with Early Expresso. Add ribbon to tag and attach to Deck the Halls Designer series Paper with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I know "vintage" is not my style (clean & simple is my usual style) however, Stampin' Up! outdid themselves when they offered this paper in the 2010 Holiday Mini. Everyone who I show it to says, "this is way prettier than it looks in the catalog" and I agree.

I have been stamping items other than Christmas and I will be mixing them in this week before I post my cards from my Bells & Boughs class next week. Enjoy!
