I was thinking about the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and I thought a mini album where everyone could write a note about what they are thankful for and with photos would be something our family could share year after year. I remembered how I much I enjoyed Thanksgiving as a child. We always had a full house for dinner which we shared with relatives. Our family was rich in love and family ties, if not in money. Holidays were always special, since we saved our pennies so we could celebrate: a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving with all the fixings.
I remember my father always bought a bottle of Manischewitz wine and everyone had a small glass, even us children, on holidays. I only learned later in life, that the time he spent during the war in Germany was the reason we had wine and potatoe pancakes with our meal on holidays. We had a lot to be thankful for living in America. So because of those memories, I thought it would be appropriate to post this album on Veterans Day. Our service men and women have given a lot so we can enjoy our blessings. Hope you enjoy this album and start a new traditon at your holiday table and be sure to thank the men and women in our Armed Services today and everyday for their service.

This is a lovely project, and thank you for sharing the memories. Made me re-think not wanting to drive all the way to NY for Christmas this year, I think it wouldn't be the same, despite the travel. And you never know how many more years everyone will be together.
Thank you for your lovely comment. I enjoyed making the album and am happy with how it came out. I will post more pictures tomorrow.
